Description
Loose, open weave. " R . G . Windross and Co. " stamped on the hoist end front side bottom corner . Near the top corner A black stamp with a square outline within it is " RAF " with a logo beneath that looks like a upwards pointing arrow . Then further towards the corner it is stamped in black " Size 4 BUS. " This flag has a dark blue field with a maroon V going the width of the flag and nearly the length as well. There are some small holes , mainly at the fly end .

Donated by Wil Stubbing on 3rd February 2012 in person . He said these flags were on the ship that 'came through the heads ' in WWII .
