There are two thin pieces of red fabric that extend below the hoist end by 195 mm. The same red fabric is used for the field of the flag and red stitching is used on this part. The hoist is white with white stitching . There is an insignia in the centre of the flag . The insignia is three vertical stripes , from hoist to fly the colours are brown , red and green. The insignia is felt. Two groups of the three stripes have been sewn together then one is sewn on each side. The flag is in a swallowtail shape. The accession number is sewn on a cotton tag as a loop between the two extensions of fabric at the hoist end .
