Provenance
Robert Strawbridge was a Lieutenant in the Australian Army in the 2nd World War. He was captured in Singapore and spent the next 3 and a half years in Chanhi Prisoner of War Camp until the end of the war. Whilst a prisoner Strawbridge hid this flag. The flag was then flown over Changi when the Japanese surrendered.
