Bronze medal in the shape of a four pointed star, ensigned with a crown on the ring-join. The obverse has crossed gladius, overlaid with an oak wreath that is ensigned with the insignia of King George V. A scroll with the years 1914 - 15 is centrally placed over the crossed blades

Bronze, ribbon - textile, possibly silk.
