Boer War Quwwn'a South Africa Medal with Transvaal and South Africa 1902 clasps. Awarded to 41010 Trooper H. Jeffries, 2nd Scottish Horse.
Round silver medal. Ribbon consists of a broad central orange vertical stripe flanked by two dark blue stripes with red edges ; Medal face depicts portrait of Queen Victoria and the words ' VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX ' surrounding. The reverse depicts Britannia with a flag in her left hand holding out a laurel wreath to a party of advancing soldiers , in the background are two warships , below the wreath are the dates 1899 - 1900 and around the top are the words "SOUTH AFRICA". Two campaign bars are attached to the ribbon above the medal with SOUTH AFRICA 1902 and TRANSVAAL respectively.
