Description

Object composed of yellow metal medallion ; There is enamel decoration on the medallion in white red and blue ; There is a gold Philippine sword in the centre of the medal , with a crest above it with the inscription / Liberty / in gold ; Above this there is a crown shaped enamel decoration ( white ) with one star in each point of the crown ( 3 in total ) ; The back of the medal bears the engraving / For the liberation of the Philippines / ; The medal is attached with 2 circular loops to a ribbon ( red with 2 thin stripes vertically down the centre in blue and white ) ; This section of the ribbon is attached to a safety pin ; There is a smaller section of ribbon in the same colours also attached to a safety pin that sits above the other part of the ribbon
