Thin double red stripes around back end of body , American star logo ( red , white and blue ) on proper left wing ( topside ) , either side of body and proper right wing ( underside ) . Inscriptions on either side of tale read " 94989 " , either side of body read " FA - 989 " , on either side of nose read " U.S. AIR FORCE " , on proper right wing ( topside ) and proper left wing ( underside ) reads " USAF " . Two black , red - tipped bombs on either side of body underneath .
