Description

Single- edged bayonet with medial depression which runs from the ricasso to 70mm from the top of of the blade. Wooden grips in the hilt are held in place with two ferrous based rivets/screws; an oil hole is present approx 20mm below the second rivet; the crosspiece is ringed on one side. Ricasso bears "MA/ 907/ 5 and 43" on one side and a XOA surmounted by a broad arrow on the other side.
