01: Notebook / diary with glossy black canvas cover, canvas sided pocket on inside front cover, lined paper pages. 'Diary of experiences from 7th Jan 1916 to 11th June 1919' inscribed on inside front cover. Black and white photographs adhered to inside front cover and back pages, including one on heavy card. Pages are numbered 1-111 and are handwritten in ink.
03: Letter dated January 28 1932, black ink, white paper
04: White paper envelope conatining letter dated 18 May 1932. Written in German with blue typewriter ink, red and black pen ink.
