Description
A book with a mustard coloured fabric dust cover (which may be home made) secured with blue thread. Handwritten text on front cover stating 'Flying Log/ Book'. There is a sticker on the front cover stating '94220' and handwritten 'F/L COCKS. A. R'. Cover of book is blue. One loose folded paper stating, 'WESTERN UNION' telegram. A other loose booklet is situated between the front cover and the first page. Booklet is red and contains handwritten notes on the front cover as well as the printed title 'PILOT'S NOTES/ TYPHOON 1A & 1B AEROPLANE SABRE II ENGINE'. Booklet has three hole punches but only two metal rings connecting the pages. Booklet contains annotations in greylead.
