United States Flag with 48 stars arranged parallel to each other in a 8 (colours) by 6 (rows) rectangle . There is rope going through the hoist , extending both above and below the flag . There is another rope knotted around the end of the original rope (which has been doubled over within this knot) . The rope above the flag has white plaster on it .
